What is Ergoflex's® return policy?

Buying a mattress or pillows online is a significant decision. If you're not completely satisfied after 30 days, you can return your mattress or pillows for a full refund. Returns are free in most metro areas, though a fee will apply for non-metro areas.

Is the 30-night trial available on all Ergoflex® products?

The 30-night trial and return service applies exclusively to the Ergoflex® Australian mattress and pillow range. This offer does not cover bed bases, bedroom furniture, sheets, mattress protectors, or any UK mattress sizes and UK mattress protectors.

Why does Ergoflex® only offer 30-nights, when other’s offer longer?

Since 2010, Ergoflex® has offered a 30-night trial period, pioneering the try-in-your-own-home concept. This trial duration has proven effective, giving customers enough time to adjust to the high-density memory foam and experience its benefits. 

Although some brands offer longer trials, Ergoflex's 30-night trial has become an industry standard, demonstrating its reliability. Customer feedback has consistently shown that 30 nights is sufficient for making an informed decision, reinforcing our commitment to this trial period.

How does the 30-night trial work?

The 30-night trial for your mattress or pillows starts on the delivery day and ends 30 nights later. If you have any concerns about the suitability of your mattress or pillows, please contact us anytime during the 30-day period. You don't need to return the items by day 30; just initiate communication within the trial period.

We ask you to try your new mattress or pillows for the full 30 nights before making a final decision. Some people need more time to adapt to their new sleeping surface. We also aim to minimise environmental waste, so we ask all customers to give our products a fair chance.

At the end of the 30-night trial, we'll discuss how you'd like to proceed. Most customers adjust during this time, but a few may choose to return their items. If you decide to return, we'll manage the entire process. All mattresses and pillows will be collected and returned within 7-14 business days. Once received, a full refund for the cost of the items will be issued to your original payment method. Please note, we do not refund the delivery cost.

Is it free to return from all areas?

Returning your mattress or pillows is free within a 50km radius of the CBD in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, and within a 30km radius of Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, Gold Coast, Newcastle, and Hobart. Returns are also free from the Central Coast, NSW.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer free returns outside of these metro areas, including regional NSW (except the Central Coast), regional VIC, regional SA, regional WA, NT, regional QLD, regional TAS, outlying islands, Pacific Islands, New Zealand, or any other location outside of Australia.

For regional areas, an estimated return fee of $100 to $350 for mattresses and $40 to $160 for pillows may apply, depending on your location. Please contact us for specific details regarding returns from these areas.

I live in a regional area, do I need to organise my own return?

Unlike most other online mattress brands, you don't need to organise your own return or take your mattress or pillows to a metro collection point if you live in a regional area. We simplify the process and handle everything for you.

Do I need to keep any of the boxes?

You don't need to keep the mattress box, as it's impossible to roll and squeeze the mattress back into it once opened. However, we request that you keep the pillow boxes to protect them during their return journey, should the need arise.

What happens to my returned mattress or pillows?

They are donated to charity or find a new home locally in the Hunter Valley area. They are never resold as new.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

All refunds are processed within 48 hours of receiving the returned mattress or pillows and are issued to the original payment method. Please note that delivery costs are non-refundable.

What else do I need to know?

The 30-day home trial and free return service is limited to one return mattress per household.

Returned mattresses and pillows must be in their original condition, with photographic evidence required before processing a collection. Items returned in a noticeably damaged or soiled state will not be processed and will be sent back to you.

The free mattress return service requires customers to reasonably repackage the full-sized mattress (using packaging supplied during the return process) and assist the courier if needed.

The 30-night trial and returns service is not available to businesses or commercial entities, including the hospitality industry, landlords, or any party associated with the mattress and/or bedding industry. We reserve the right to decline the service if we reasonably suspect abuse of the offer.

The return period for sheets and protectors is 14 days. However, for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns once the sheets or protector have been opened. If you wish to return a protector or sheet set, it must be done at your own expense.

If an incorrect-sized mattress is purchased and an exchange is required, a collection and return delivery fee will apply. This is not covered by the home-trial offer.
